adidas Originals Dominates The Streetwear Scene, Showcasing That Creators Are #NEVERFINISHED
Streetwear has grown from merely just a regular clothing to expressing one's individuality and adidas has always been a dominant force in that area. On February 24, adidas Originals Philippines has taken it to the next level with their new campaign, #NEVERFINISHED.
The #NEVERFINISHED Showcase is a celebration of individuality and evolution in style, music, and sports featuring adidas SS18 collection in collaboration with local Creators. For fashion and styling, local fashion brands involved in creating exciting pieces to pair with the latest Prophere footwear were PROUDRACE, Randolf, Salad Day, REVERE,and BASTARD.
Those creations were then modeled by today's most influential fashionistas Hannah Pangilinan, Issa Pressman, Kerwin King, Janina Vela, and Jerrick Ahanmisi through a live photo shoot by Purveyr Magazine.
Of course, I didn't let that photo opportunity pass and took my own shots with the old school TV wall display.
For the music scene, local artists Leanne and Naara, LustBass, Crwn, Kiana Valenciano, Curtismith, and The Ransom Collective gave everyone a taste of the local music evolution through their awesome performances. Curtismith and Crwn also released their original track alongside with a video montage crafted with SCOUT Magazine.
All that was inspired by the adidas SS18 Brand Film released globally on January 25 featuring some of the world’s most influential creative talents spanning the worlds of music, style, and sport, including Dua Lipa, Miles Silvas, Playboi Carti, Lu Han, A$AP Ferg, Nick Young, Kaytranada, Florencia Galarza, Marcelo Vieira and Adrianne Ho.
adidas never fails to amaze the world! It just goes to show that creativity is in a constant state of evolution and that the next generation should not be afraid of innovating and creating. I can't wait to see more outstanding work from adidas and its local Creators in the future. adidas Originals is #NEVERFINISHED!
