Segway Go Kart Racing at Adventure Zone Star City
The holidays are the perfect time for family bonding activities. Simply Moving Philippines, Inc. (SMPI), the Philippines' key distributor of an internationally-leading eco-friendly transporter, just introduced Segway Personal Transporter (PT) and their latest innovation might just be your next big favorite past-time.
They have launched their 3 latest models the Drift W1, One Z10, and GoKart. The first of Segway's new e-Skates, Drift W1 uses Segway's proven and stable self-balancing technology from more than 800 patents. It also enables fast travel with speeds up to 7.5 mph. It is also lightweight so it is very portable. This is definitely the 21st-century answer to roller blades and in-lines skates.
Next in line is the One Z-10, the latest addition to the Monowheel Ninebot One Z series, and is also the most stable and fastest in the line-up. It allows the user to travel at speeds up to 45 km/h. Equipped with a large 18-inch wheel with a wide tire of 103mm, it ensures stability, balance and safety. And it is not to be used only n flat surfaces. The quality tire, excellent shock absorption, and comfortable footboards enables the user to overcome curbs, slopes, bumps, and other surfaces easily. It also has LED lights in case of poor visibility.
And of course, the best invention ever, the GoKart Kit! Existing owners of Segway miniPRO, the self-balancing electric scooter, may convert it into a GoKart racing car by purchasing the GoKart kit. The kart has a maximum speed of 24 km/h. It also has a reverse gear feature and it is equipped with a mechanical handbrake fitted to the kart's own wheels. In fact, it is the first ever go kart that is made to drift with this handbrake. The kit’s frame can be adjusted to fit riders from 4’5” to 6’3” with a maximum payload of 100kg.
The best part is, you can experience the Segway Ninebot GoKart at the Adventure Zone Star City along with other activities like zipline, high ropes, and climbing! It is a wide extensive track where you can enjoy 12 minutes of GoKart racing for only Php500.
I just want to share with you that it was actually my first time to try Go Kart Racing and I can't believe I've been missing the fun my whole life until now! I had a blast gearing up with their protective gear and racing to my heart's content, feeling like a real race car driver.
