Since my mom and I needed a break from going around shopping for Christmas gifts, we decided to treat ourselves for a massage there. A reason for a mother-daughter pampering session too, I guess. Besides, all customers got 20% off on all their services and an additional 50% off on the next visit during the opening day. Who could resist that great deal, right?
Upon entering, the wood and luscious green accents, and the clean crisp white tones of the interior really got us into zen mode. Warm greetings from the staff and a hot cup of tea welcomed us while waiting for our turn too.
For the rooms, they have an area for the foot massages, separate rooms and a couple room for whole body massages. Each room is equipped with fresh linens and towels, as well as a box for your belongings. They lack an area for hanging clothes though and didn't have robes or shorts for the guests' use, but it doesn't make Numi Wellness' services any less.
They offer premium services from foot refloxology, oriental ventosa cupping to different types of massages. My mom and I both tried their best-selling relaxing massage therapy, which is the Numi Wellness' Signature Zen Massage (90mins). It is a combination of Shiatsu, Thai Yoga, Calm Aromatherapy, and Hot Stone Rolling massage. All the best massages rolled into one!
Unlike any other spa or massage centers, Numi Wellness has a wide selection of massage oils you can choose from. My mom picked the White Tea massage oil, which is the top choice of many. I preferred the Peppermint massage oil, which is also a crowd favorite. Surprisingly, the oils do not feel sticky on the body, even after the massage.
Before the massage, my shoulders were really painful because I have been carrying heavy items the past few days. I didn't let my therapist know that time, but my shoulders went from painful to awesome right after the massage! Our favorite part was the hot stone rolling. It's quite unique and it felt really good. Plus, getting a massage promotes a lot of benefits for the body and soul.
